Dolgonosov Viktor Nikolaevich – associate professor of the Department of MSG, Doctor of Technical Sciences.

In 1987, he graduated with honors from the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute with a degree in “Mine Surveying”, he was awarded the qualification “mining engineer – mine surveyor”. He works at the department of MSG from 1987 to the present time. Reads lectures on disciplines: “Geomechanics”, “Physics and mechanics of rocks”, “Mine Surveying”, “Theory of mathematical processing of geodetic measurements” and “Analysis of accuracy of mine surveying”.

In 2004 he defended his PhD thesis on “Improving the method of calculation of the stability of pit slopes on a weak sloping base” in the specialty 25.00.16 – “Mining and oil and gas geology, geophysics, mine surveying and subsurface geometry”.

He was awarded a badge “Miner’s Glory” of the III degree on 18.08.2009.

In 2010 he defended his doctoral dissertation, Doctor of Technical Sciences since June 29, 2010.

Since 04.05.2011. was awarded the title of assistant professor of KNASON MES RK, Assistant Professor of Geodesy and Mine Surveying

Dolgonosov Vladimir N. actively participates in research work of the Department of MSG KTU in the implementation of economic contracts with mining companies in Kazakhstan. Published over 170 scientific papers, 8 monographs in co-authorship, 6 textbooks, 4 books approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and over 50 guidelines, ST, STB and SL.

He was awarded the medal “Laureate of the Academy of Mining Sciences” and awarded the Prize named after A.M.Terpigorev from 29.10.2011.
