In the period of 1999-2004, she graduated with honors from KSTU with a degree in Standardization and certification, and in 2009 with a degree in Electric power engineering. In 2013, he was awarded a master of technical science degree in “Electric power engineering”. In 2020, she graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic University with a degree in Photonics, instrumentation, optical and biotechnical systems and technologies (2016-2020). Since 2004, he has been working at the Karaganda technical University at the Department of “Power supply and electrical engineering” (now “Energy systems”), as an assistant, teacher, senior teacher.

In the period from 2012 to 2020y. was the contractor on the topics of grant funding of scientific research: “Development and introduction into production of domestic information-measuring system for determining the concentration of methane”, “Development of methods of increasing the efficiency of heating systems HCS with the establishment of optimal thermal parameters”, “Micro thermal power plant Coverciano type with heat recovery”. The main directions of research conducted by Y. G. Neshina is the development of an innovative power supply system for communication and telecommunications devices based on high-tech technology, as well as research on the creation of an intelligent fiber-optic sensor for monitoring the deformation of mining operations.

Y. G. Neshina has more than 150 printed scientific and methodological works published in the leading publications of Kazakhstan and Russia, including those included in the databases Scopus, Thomson Reuters, materials of international and national conferences.

Has letters of thanks from the Rector of KarTU. In 2018, the rector of the University awarded the diploma of the 3rd degree for a special contribution to the development of the University as “the Best young scientist-innovator”. Winner of the grant “Best University teacher” – 2018.
