Work experience: full-time postgraduate study (1998-2001), assistant at the Department of Geology and Geophysics (2002-2003), senior lecturer at the Department of Geology and Geophysics (2003-2019), acting associate professor at the Department of State Research Institute of Mining and Geophysics (2019-2022), associate professor at the Department of State Research Institute of Mining and Geophysics (from 2022 to the present).
Main scientific interests: Development of modern nuclear-physical technologies for operational control of the material composition and quality of various natural and industrial materials in the mining, metallurgical and geological industries.
Achievements: D.Yu. Pak is the author of more than 300 scientific papers, including 4 textbooks approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 10 monographs and 27 textbooks, more than 50 publications in foreign journals, more than 40 patents for inventions in the field of nuclear-physical methods for analyzing the composition and quality of minerals.
