Full Name: Mataev Azamat Kalizhanuly

Azamat Kalizhanuly Mataev was born on November 29, 1993, in Taskala village, West Kazakhstan Region.

In 2015, he graduated from K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University with a degree in 5B070700 – Mining Engineering.

In 2017, he completed his master’s studies at Satbayev University with a degree in 6M070700 – Mining Engineering.

After graduation, he worked at the Department of Metallurgy and Mining Engineering at K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University from September 2, 2017, to August 31, 2018.

In 2018, he enrolled in doctoral studies at Karaganda State Technical University (First President’s University) in the field of 6D070700 – Mining Engineering.

Doctoral Dissertation Topic:

“Selection and Justification of Support Technology for Development Workings in the Conditions of Unstable Rock Masses of the Khromtau Deposit.”

Since 2019, he has been working at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, at the Faculty of Mining, in the Department of Mineral Deposit Development.

In 2022, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation on the topic “Selection and Justification of Support Technology for Development Workings in the Conditions of Unstable Rock Masses of the Khromtau Deposit.”

Scientific Research Areas:

Development of technological regulations for calculating the parameters of stoping chambers and pillars;

Optimization of technological processes used in the extraction of low-thickness ore bodies;

Improvement of horizontal mine workings support methods;

Study of various factors affecting mining efficiency and development of recommendations for improving the stability of mining structures.

He has scientific, technical, and industrial experience in geotechnical research and in justifying optimal parameters for drilling and blasting operations when mining low-thickness deposits.
